A useful fit for

A documented 10,000-SACC DUAL Inverter candidate with a 23–60-inch kit, app control and published cabinet dimensions when those known dimensions fit.

The main tradeoff

It is still a single-hose cooling-only unit; LG's page has a false 14,000-SACC bullet and 450/500-square-foot copy conflict, so use the 10,000 SACC rating and the more conservative 450-sq-ft current field.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Does the LP1419IVSM meet 10,000 BTU/h DOE/SACC but not a 12,000 minimum?

LG's exact model title and performance fields list 10,000 SACC. That clears 10,000 but not 12,000; 14,000 is ASHRAE.

Is a DUAL Inverter compressor explicitly listed for the exact model?

Yes. LG names DUAL Inverter on the exact LP1419IVSM product page. This remains a maker claim rather than an energy-savings measurement.

Will the standard kit span a 60-inch opening?

The 2025 model-named manual lists 23–60 inches and allows trimming below 23 without a stated minimum; 60 inches is its documented top end.

Does a 70-pound ceiling admit a listed 70.99-pound cabinet?

No. The exact current LG page lists 70.99 lb, just over a 70-lb limit.

The LG LP1419IVSM is a white DUAL Inverter portable air conditioner whose current product-page title gives 10,000 BTU/h SACC and 14,000 BTU/h ASHRAE. It is connected and single-hose, with a current LG estimate of up to 450 square feet. Its exact page publishes body dimensions and weight, while its shared model manual with LP1022FVSM provides the 23–60-inch slider kit and tank-drain plan.

Use the rating table, not a stray feature sentence

This exact page has an error worth catching before shopping: a feature bullet calls its inverter compressor “14,000 BTU (SACC).” The main product heading and performance fields instead list 10,000 SACC and 14,000 ASHRAE. I use the latter, internally consistent rating pair. The unit meets a hard 10,000-SACC minimum but not 12,000. The area estimate also needs care: the current title/performance area says 450 square feet, while an HTML metadata description says 500. For fit discussions I retain the current 450-square-foot headline and table value and treat either estimate as non-binding on an unusually sunny or connected room.

LG explicitly describes the LP1419IVSM as DUAL Inverter and ThinQ-enabled. The product page also lists a remote, four cooling speeds, auto swing, Auto Restart, a 24-hour timer and R32 refrigerant. Its inverter feature and app may appeal if scheduling or connected-home control is useful, but the page does not amount to a test of app reliability, sound or seasonal cost. The published dBA set is 53/50/47/44; the current page does not map every number to a speed label. They are manufacturer specifications, not measured room sound.

It shares a window and water plan with LP1022FVSM

The exact 2025 owner manual cover lists LP1419IVSM and LP1022FVSM. It describes their standard window-vent panel kit as 23–60 inches for a vertical slider’s width or a horizontal slider’s height, and says a panel can be trimmed for an opening shorter than 23 inches without specifying a new minimum. In the matcher, an exact lower endpoint is therefore treated conservatively; do not read “trim” as a verified fit for every narrow window. At the opposite edge, 60 inches is a documented top end. If a 50-inch maximum is too short, this manual family may be more promising, provided the sash type and hose routing work.

The manual specifies a single flexible exhaust hose, not two separate hoses. LG’s auto-evaporation system reduces ordinary water handling, but the manual still warns that the collection tank can fill, shows the FL shutdown and gives bottom-drain steps. It does not establish a continuous hose drain or lift pump in the sections I reviewed. If you require a permanent drain route, this is a poor fit unless LG documents the exact installation arrangement for your use. Filter care is also part of ownership: the manual says to clean the filter every two weeks.

Power requirements are 115 volts, 1,370 watts and 12 amps in the current exact product specifications. Use the manual’s properly grounded 120-volt receptacle on a dedicated 15-amp circuit; LG warns not to use an extension cord, surge protector or multi-outlet adapter. That is a practical pre-install check, not a suggestion to replace a circuit without qualified help.

Known body measurements can help with an awkward location

LG lists a 19.41-inch width, 30.43-inch height, 18.11-inch depth and net weight of 70.99 pounds. Measure the space around the unit, not only the rectangle it occupies: leave room for the exhaust connection, airflow, filter removal and access to the lower drain. This information is useful for a doorway or furniture constraint, but it does not prove the hose will bend as your room requires or that a 71-pound cabinet is easy to carry up stairs.

There is a close same-capacity alternative in the LP1022FVSM. Both current-listed models use the same 2025 owner manual family, are rated 10,000 SACC/14,000 ASHRAE, and offer DUAL Inverter, Wi-Fi and a 23–60-inch standard kit. The LP1022 specification sheet lists 71 pounds but prints an impossible “118 1/9” depth; this comparison does not assume the two have identical bodies just because the shared manual fits both. The LP1419 exact page supplies body dimensions; use those published values if tight clearances decide your purchase.

Set expectations about the product evidence

LG’s current LP1419 page lists one year of parts and labor. Its exact support page offers a current owner manual dated 2025 and an older specification dated 2021. No exact EnergyGuide CEER was verified in the sources used here, so the model should not be selected for a mandatory label-efficiency threshold. A page-linked older specification may exist, but I have not treated a product-sheet CEER or another suffix’s label as its EnergyGuide. Likewise, LG’s quiet-operation language and dBA values do not support an independent sound ranking.

Choose the LP1419IVSM if the 10,000-SACC tier, connected control, named inverter, exact cabinet measurements and manual window plan fit. Do not choose it if you need heat, dual-hose operation, a verified label CEER, a documented pump drain or 12,000 SACC. If the lower window endpoint is the deciding factor, the LP1023BSSM has an 18–50-inch manual range and a 10,000-SACC rating, but not a confirmed DUAL Inverter label. For the concise three-way setup table, use the LG 10,000-SACC comparison.
