Model comparison

LG LP0623WSR vs LP0626PGF vs LP0723WSR: capacity and window fit

Two of these LG models share a 6,000-BTU/h SACC rating, while the LP0723WSR moves to 7,000 SACC. The useful differences are not just the marketing-era number: the exact window-panel ranges, published cabinet data and room estimates change how each unit fits a real location. Read the SACC ratings as the common DOE-based comparison, and treat LG's square-foot figures as estimates rather than guarantees.

Three exact configurations, three practical choices

  • LG LP0623WSR: 6,000 BTU/h SACC / 9,700 ASHRAE, with a manufacturer area estimate up to 250 sq ft. Its 25–47-inch slider kit suits openings from 25 through 47 inches. LG publishes a 17 1/8 × 27 3/4 × 13-inch cabinet, 56.3-pound product weight and 53/51 dBA high/low sound ratings.
  • LG LP0626PGF: also 6,000 SACC and an estimate up to 250 sq ft, but its family manual gives a 27–52-inch sliding-window range. If the clear opening is 48–52 inches, that upper range may matter. Exact size, weight and numeric sound data were not established for this specific PGF version in the reviewed sources, so do not fill those blanks with LP0623WSR numbers.
  • LG LP0723WSR: 7,000 SACC / 10,500 ASHRAE and an estimate up to 300 sq ft. Its 25–47-inch kit is the same span as LP0623WSR, while the published 17 1/8 × 27 3/4 × 13-inch cabinet weighs 56.8 pounds. The extra 1,000 SACC is more important than a nominal ASHRAE difference when the shopper's minimum is expressed in SACC.

Use the opening and capacity together

For a 25- or 26-inch vertical-slider opening, LP0623WSR and LP0723WSR have an uncut kit range that starts at 25 inches. The 2026 PGF manual gives 27 inches as the start of its standard uncut panel and separately directs trimming panel A below that span, without a numeric post-cut minimum. The finder therefore cannot certify a 26-inch cut fit from its standard-range field; check the final trim physically. From 27 to 47 inches, all three standard ranges cover the opening; from 48 to 52 inches, only the LP0626PGF standard panel reaches that far. Above 52 inches or below 25 inches, these sources do not confirm a fit.

Then check the capacity floor. A 6,000-SACC minimum includes LP0623WSR and LP0626PGF; a 7,100-SACC requirement excludes both even though their ASHRAE figures are higher. LP0723WSR clears that stricter threshold at 7,000 SACC only if the buyer's actual need is 7,000 or lower—its 10,500 ASHRAE rating cannot be substituted for a 7,100-SACC minimum either. The room estimate changes from 250 to 300 sq ft, but neither establishes a guaranteed result in a sunny or open room.

Limits shared across the comparison

These are single-hose, cooling-focused configurations, not dual-hose choices. The exact LP0623WSR page does not confirm app control, and the LP0626PGF is the non-Wi-Fi PGF suffix; an app-essential filter should not treat either as connected. LP0723WSR's exact page likewise does not establish app control. The LP0623WSR spec sheet lists 6.5 CEER under a DOE waiver, but that is not an exact EnergyGuide CEER. Keep label-based energy requirements unknown unless a matching label is verified.

All three require window measurement and hose clearance, and their owner manuals require a grounded outlet and routine filter care. For LP0623WSR, the exact manual also limits continuous garden-hose drainage to Dry mode; that is not a cooling-mode condensate pump. Use each exact model review for the respective installation details, water handling and unresolved measurements rather than inferring a shared specification from the similar cabinet names.
