Portable AC finder

Match cooling capacity to the room and the window.

Tell us whether you need a compact cabinet, heating or phone control. Add any cooling-capacity, window-fit and drainage requirements you already know in the next step. Check the room’s cooling needs before you choose a unit.

Cooling capacity, room sizing and window setup

Start with the minimum DOE SACC rating that you believe the room needs. Add a heat requirement, a heat-mode drain route, or a height, weight, efficiency or warranty limit only if it is essential; unknown specifications do not satisfy a hard limit.

Every result is tied to an exact model. Confirm the model suffix, window kit and current instructions with the seller before ordering. Room-area claims do not replace a heat-load assessment.

Help with this choice

This is the cabinet measurement, not the clearance needed behind the unit or around the exhaust hose.

Help with this choice

Do not assume a heat pump from a similar model name; a suffix may identify a separate heat model.

Earlier Midea items stay outside default results. Midea separately lists MAP10HS1XWGR-T on its U.S. site; the earlier white MAP14HS1TWT and no-suffix gray MAP10HS1XWGR are separate prior heat-capable models. Unknown CEER does not pass an efficiency threshold; an earlier-model result is not a stock guarantee. The older black MAP10S1XWBL is a separate cooling-only 10,000-BTU model (CEER 7.9) that Midea marks no longer available; do not confuse its page title with the explicit Heat: No specification or merge it with MAP10HS1XWGR heat variants.
